PACT Act Presumptive Conditions Checklist

Eligibility (any one)
- Served in Vietnam, Laos, or Cambodia during specified dates (Agent Orange)
- Served in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Oman, or Somalia after 9/11 (burn pits)
- Served in a covered location during Gulf War or Post-9/11 era
- Diagnosed with a presumptive condition listed above
Post-9/11 (Gulf War / burn pit era)
- Asthma diagnosed after service
- Chronic bronchitis / chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- Chronic rhinitis / sinusitis
- Constrictive bronchiolitis (obliterative bronchiolitis)
- Emphysema
- Granulomatous disease
- Interstitial lung disease (ILD)
- Pleuritis
- Pulmonary fibrosis
- Sarcoidosis
- Brain cancer / glioblastoma
- Gastrointestinal cancer of any type
- Head cancer of any type
- Kidney cancer
- Lymphoma of any type (including Hodgkin's, non-Hodgkin's)
- Melanoma
- Neck cancer of any type
- Pancreatic cancer
- Reproductive cancer of any type
- Respiratory (breathing-related) cancer of any type
- Hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS)
Vietnam-era (Agent Orange herbicide exposure)
- AL amyloidosis
- Bladder cancer (added by PACT Act)
- Chloracne (must appear within 1 year of exposure)
- Chronic B-cell leukemias
- Diabetes mellitus type 2
- Hodgkin's disease
- Hypertension (added by PACT Act, 2024)
- Hypothyroidism (added by PACT Act)
- Ischemic heart disease
- Monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS)
- Multiple myeloma
- Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
- Parkinsonism / Parkinson's disease
- Peripheral neuropathy, early-onset
- Porphyria cutanea tarda
- Prostate cancer
- Respiratory cancers (lung, larynx, trachea, bronchus)
- Soft tissue sarcomas (certain types)
Radiation-exposed veterans
- Cancers previously covered under 38 CFR § 3.309(d)
- Additional cancers added or clarified by the PACT Act
