Overview
DC 6013 (open-angle) and DC 6012 (angle-closure) provide minimum ratings based on treatment requirement.
Visual field loss is measured by Goldmann or automated perimetry and rated under DC 6080.
Reduced visual acuity is rated under DC 6066 using corrected acuity in both eyes.
How to Establish Service Connection
- Direct: documented in-service onset.
- Secondary to service-connected eye trauma or chronic steroid use for another service-connected condition.
